RTL Magyarország is Hungarian media company owned by RTL Group. The company have eight television channels.


RTL Magyarország was founded on 7th October 1997. Found of the broadcast for television channel (RTL Klub).

On 20th October 2003, RTL Magyarország's channel RTL Klub's mascot called "Naná" was introduced.

On 1st June 2008, RTL Magyarország's channel RTL Klub was rebranded.

On 28th June 2011, RTL Magyarország acquires the channels from IKO Media Group (Cool TV, Prizma, Film+, Film+ 2, Sorozat+ and Muzsika TV).

On 1st October 2012, RTL Magyarország's entertainment channel RTL II was launched.

On 1st May 2014, RTL Magyarország's entertainment channel Prizma is renamed as RTL+.

On 1st December 2014, RTL Magyarország's channels were rebranded.

On 1st December 2016, RTL Magyarország's entertainment channel RTL Spike was launched joint-venture with Viacom International Media Networks Hungary.

On 3rd June 2017, RTL Magyarország's channel Film+ 2 is renamed as RTL Gold.

On 12th January 2021, RTL Magyarország's channel RTL Spike is renamed as TeenNick was fully owned by ViacomCBS Networks International Hungary.
