RTL Joy is Scretonian television network owned by RTL Media. The channel broadcasts animated and live-action series programmings from 3 to 16 years.

History

RTL Joy was launched on 20th October 2003 as Top Kids. Launch of the broadcast for animated and live-action series for children.

On 18th March 2006, Top Kids is renamed RTL Joy (along with RTL Film and RTL Scretonia).

On 11th September 2010, RTL Joy switched to 16:9 image format.

On 21st November 2011, RTL Joy was rebranded and the new logo and idents were changed.

On 20th May 2012, RTL Joy stopped the 4:3 image format then became a full 16:9 image format and launched in high-definition version.

On 15th January 2014, RTL Joy the new broadcast for animated series from DreamWorks.

On 15th May 2015, RTL Joy was rebranded as part of RTL Media's television rebranding effort.

On 15th May 2020, RTL Joy was rebranded and the new logo and idents were changed.
