RTL Film is Scretonian television network owned by RTL Media. The channel broadcasts movies related to all genres.
History
RTL Film was launched on 1st April 2004 as Top Cinema. Launch of the broadcast for movies related to action, romance, comedy, classic, family and science fiction, He have 16:9 image format (along with RTL Joy's launch previous year).
On 18th March 2006, Top Cinema is renamed RTL Film (along with RTL Joy and RTL Scretonia).
On 25th December 2009, RTL Film stopped the 4:3 image format then became a full 16:9 image format and launched in HD simulcast (along with RTL Top, RTL Dva and SpoRTL).
On 20th November 2011, RTL Film was rebranded and the new logo and idents were changed.
On 15th May 2015, RTL Film was rebranded as part of RTL Media's television rebranding effort.
On 15th May 2020, RTL Film was rebranded and the new logo and idents were changed.
