Film+ is Hungarian television network owned by RTL Magyarország. The channel broadcasts movies related to action, science-fiction, horror, western, drama, comedy and animation.

History

Film+ was launched on 15th September 2003 as F+. Launch of the broadcast for movies.

On 4th September 2004, F+ is renamed as Film+.

On 6th February 2005, Film+ was launched in the Czech Republic under the name.

On 15th September 2008, Film+ was rebranded and the new logo and idents were changed.

On 27th May 2011, Film+ was rebranded and the new logo and idents were changed.

On 28th June 2011, Film+ was acquired by RTL Magyarország.

On 18th December 2012, Film+ switched to 16:9 image format.

On 1st December 2014, Film+ was rebranded and the new logo and idents were changed.

On 1st January 2015, Film+ stopped its 4:3 image format then became a full 16:9 image format and was launched in high-definition version.

On 19th October 2019, Film+ was encrypted by MinDig TV.
